Tips to encourage ditching disposables
Do not hand out napkins during meals times as they may go unused and be thrown away.

Refrain from using disposable plastic bags for games, activities, and storage of goods.
​
Avoid plastic forks, spoons, knives, and plates for more remote events where feasible.
An arrangement with camp hosts to borrow cutlery may be possible.
Remind Participants to Bring Their own Bottle Before the event
Set a group meeting point with
filtered water available.
Informing the caterer/sponsor in advance about the Policy and ask them to provide reusable drinking glasses/cups/mugs
If the caterer is unable to provide reusable containers please let us know and see above on acquiring reusable drinking equipment

and will be prepared to comply with the policy by July 1, 2017.
